Tailor Made System

The INSUL-DECK® manufacturing system can provide tailor made products to solve your individual floor and roofing needs.  The new, highly sophisticated, fully automated production line can produce INSUL-DECK® elements with dimensions of thickness and length continuously adjustable according to your job specifications.  The insulation value can be varied according to the job requirements.  Any roof slope from horizontal to vertical can be accommodated.  Floor and roof shapes other than rectangular or square can be easily made by simply cutting the elements into the proper shape, yet still maintaining of the insulation value.  All of these features provide the builder with customized products without the usual high labor costs.

Finished Floor Light Weight

The INSUL-DECK® floor system is less than half the weight of comparable hollow core, precast floor systems.  Another significant benefit of the lighter floor system is the reduced load on the walls and foundation.

Sound Insulation

INSUL-DECK® panels are being specified by architects for use in movie theaters.  The same excellent sound properties of the panels can help to quiet your home by reducing the noise transmitted through the floors and roof.

Flexibility

INSUL-DECK®s ability to span up to 40 ft without center supports can allow you to build clear span basements.  Use of the system for basements and first level floors results in better living conditions and energy savings.  The panel can be used in the garage floor to allow your basement to extend under the garage area.

Insulation Without Thermal Bridges

The insulation value of the panel has a range of R-10 to R-25 depending on the job requirements.  One of the unique characteristics of this product is the continuity of insulation that is assured by the tongue and groove connection between the panels.  The insulation value is obtained in an optimal way at the factory and is not subject to the skill of the installers.  These factors combine to give you an insulation without thermal bridges.

INSUL-DECK®, when used with masonry and concrete walls, provides an integrated, complete protection against fire, catastrophic winds, tornadoes and earth quakes.
